How are Steam credentials handled?
They are sent only over HTTPS to the provider, encrypted per account, excluded from API responses and logs, and removable by you at any time.
Can I use Steam Guard?
Yes. Use a shared secret, enter a Guard code in the live console, or select QR login and scan the code shown in logs.
Can I play while idling?
Steam can replace the idler session when you start playing elsewhere. The idler detects session replacement and avoids fighting your active session.
